Special Thanks to Outgoing Board & Staff
As we reflect on all that BLCI accomplished over the past year, from launching a new program to sending 6 more students off to college, we'd like to take a moment to honor three people who dedicated their time to ensuring that the year was a success.
Two of our longstanding Board members are stepping down as their terms expire. We'll miss Peter Lewis, our immediate past Board Chair, and Angel Prado, an outstanding community member and father of a BLCI alum!
We'd also like to thank former High School Coordinator Jennie Lange for the three years she spent formalizing the high school program and ensuring that our 9-12th graders had all the resources necessary to become the first in their families to go to college.
