Elaine D'Gracia
Elaine D’Gracia (BLCI Class of 2015) is a fifth grader in the Elementary Program. She has applied to attend Francis Parker this coming fall, and is currently waiting to hear from the admissions office.
Why do you come to BLCI?
I come to BLCI, so that when I grow up I can have a career and be someone important in life.
Why is getting a college education important to you?
It is very important to me, because it is the only way that I’ll become a doctor someday.
What motivates you as a student?
What motivates me is learning new things.
What advice would you give to students who want to go to college? How can they make it happen?
I would encourage them to be a part of BLCI, because it will help them get a better education.
Is there an experience or activity at BLCI that you really enjoyed or found helpful?
I like the history that our learning guides are teaching us about Barrio Logan.
Any future plans you'd like to share?
I want to be a doctor.
