Maria's Story
No mater how busy life got or how much homework she had, Maria always came to BLCI with a smile, ready to work her hardest.
She continues to celebrate cultural education through her involvement in Ballet Folklorico.
Maria plans to transfer after two years at Southwestern and pursue her degree in Psychology or Education.

Receiving the Warm Dorm scholarship was like a dream come true for me!
My parents and I have been so worried about how I was going to buy books and supplies next year, and now I don’t have to worry about it.
I am definitely going to come back to BLCI next year and help other students so they know how lucky they are to have BLCI in their lives.
