Steps to Success Scholars
Our weekly Steps to Success Workshops for middle and high school students focus on important academic and personal skills such as time management, essay writing, college applications and admissions, community service, and standardized test prep. BLCI students also receive individual guidance as they apply to San Diego's premier private and charter schools, apply for scholarships, and fill out financial aid applications. With a donation of $5,000, you can sponsor the participation of one class of students for an entire year! For more information contact us.
Volunteer
Lend a hand! Our Tutors, Mentors, and Speakers work hand-in-hand with students, families, and staff. Together, we are helping to create a legacy of hope, passion, and opportunity for the future generations of the Barrio Logan. Making a difference is easier than you might think. Share what you have – your time, friendship, knowledge, passion, unique gifts and experiences – and you will change a student’s life. You have something to offer – and we have students who cannot wait to work with you. Learn how you can volunteer to support our students on the path to college!
